Botswana News Village Clean Up  

The Village Clean-Up

Staff at Eagle Island Camp in Botswana's Okavango Delta organised a clean-up in nearby Nxhoga Village. Rubbish was collected from the streets, new dustbins donated and existing ones emptied. The team held a meeting with village officials to devise a system for keeping the village clean in future.

Village Tour

Staff from Orient-Express safaris accommodated two visiting doctors at Eagle Island Camp and accompanied them as they saw patients in a nearby village. Alice M Morake led the Orient-Express team, and took the opportunity to donate clothing and other necessities to disabled and poor villagers.
